This term we will be focusing on:

• Pencil grip
• Playing ball games- being able to throw and catch a ball.
• Developing fine motor skills through different activities.
• Name writing.
• Letter formation- It is really important that children learn to form letters correctly from the start so that they don’t learn ‘bad habits’ that impact their writing when they begin to join their handwriting.  
• Increasing independence in meeting own care needs (washing hands, putting shoes/ wellies on etc).
