his term in our PE lessons we will be focusing on Fitness and Movement Development.
We will learn to;
•Develop the jumping technique safely.
•Work well as a team to improve performance.
•Solve challenges whilst on the move.
•Demonstrate the correct jumping and landing techniques.
•Understand the benefits of regular exercise.
•Travel with confidence and skill in a range of movements when using equipment.
• Show understanding of the need for safety when tackling new challenges and considers and manages some risks.
• Move freely and with pleasure and confidence in a range of skilful ways.
• Run skilfully and negotiates spaces successfully, adjusting speed or direction to avoid obstacles
We will also continue with our daily letter formation sessions where we focus on forming letters, pencil control and pencil grip.
We will also continue with our weekly adult focused fine motor sessions where we will complete activities that enhance our fine motor skills through cutting, tracing, threading and manipulating objects to build the strength in our fingers. These activities are then practised and encouraged during continuous provision.
