Phonics and reading

Your child will be assigned a reading book based on their phonics knowledge. Our phonics programme suggest that children should read the book at least 4 times a week.

Your child will bring a book home on a Friday and will change the book the following Friday.

Please ensure your child brings their book into school every day.

(Phase 4 does not cover any new sounds, just blending existing sounds learnt).
