Subtracting mixed numbers

1) Make them improper
2) Find a common multiple
3) Multiply both fractions so they have the same denominator. (Don't forget what ever we do to the bottom, we do to the top!)
4) Subtract the numerators, but the denominator stays the same.
5) If you need to, convert your answer into a mixed number.
